Info SEADUNET-Korea

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you very much for your reply. Yes, it is true that SEAMOLEC and KFTA
will be mediating Indonesian and Korean schools for the partnership. It
would be better if we start at high school level as students at this level
are more competent for collaboration and communication. I wonder if you
could also arrange for vocational schools partnership, if available.

We have some list of schools ready for the partnership. Mostly are from big
cities like Jakarta, Surabaya, Semarang and Jogjakarta, and other areas as
well. To match the participating schools, we need to collect the profiles of
school, and let them communicate by email first. All email communication
should be cc-ed to us.

The partnership is not necessarily focusing on ICT education, but could also
be for language, culture, values or other subject matters, like Mathematics
or Science. ICT is only the tools for communication.

After we get the schools matched, then we will take the Indonesian
principals to come and visit the Korean principals. We can conduct a meeting
there to discuss the forms of collaboration and the draft of MoU for them to
sign. Indonesian principals will cover their own transportation,
accommodation and meals. It would be great if you could recommend an
affordable place for us to stay in.

I will also try to request Indonesian embassy in Seoul to assist us in this
program. When do you think we could start this program? July or August? I'll
send you the list of Indonesian schools as soon as possible.

Best regards,

Mangasa Aritonang
SEAMOLEC
